Reflecting on Year Two: Impact, Gratitude, and the Road to Year Three

In 2024, MVPartners Group was a vision. Today, as we step into our third year this February 2026, it has become a thriving community of high-performers, builders, and visionaries.

To my clients, partners, and the Tampa Bay community—thank you for making these first two years unforgettable. This isn’t just a “new chapter” for us; it’s a continuation of experience earned, lessons learned, and a mission that has been in me since I was 17 years old… read more.

Measuring What Matters: Our 2025 Impact

At MVP, we don’t measure success by activity—we measure it by impact. My clients don’t hire me for “good conversations.” They hire me to transform organizations, strengthen leadership, and change future trajectories.

2025 was a year of deep, meaningful work, strategic clarity, and significant growth. To recap what we accomplished together:

  • 20+ Organizations supported and scaled.
  • 6 Strategic Planning Cycles facilitated from start to finish.
  • 15+ Unique Leaders coached through high-stakes transitions.
  • 1 Business successfully prepared and placed on the market for sale.
  • 1 Realtor Development Program launched to elevate industry standards.
  • 4% of Profits donated back to the community we love.

The “Unintended Specialty”

From “lightbulb moments” to those tough, necessary conversations—which have apparently become my unintended specialty!—the work this past year focused on helping leaders face reality, build internal capability, and prepare strategically for what’s next.

If I could go back and tell that 17-year-old Marlene anything, it would be this:

  1. Keep the determination, but don’t forget to pause and smell the roses once in a while.
  2. Always value and respect yourself—your perspective is your power.
  3. Give back generously, because one day you will be the one opening doors for others.

Looking Ahead to Year Three

The biggest takeaway from these last few years? The future is unpredictable, but our response doesn’t have to be. We have the power to influence our leadership, our organizations, and our growth starting right now.

To every mentor and guide who has helped me along the way—thank you. I carry your lessons with me every day.

Here’s to Year Three—and to continuing to do work that matters. If your strategy is set and your goals are ambitious, but your leadership bench needs strengthening to make it a reality—let’s talk.
